Position: Full-Time PE Teacher at Princeton Secondary
Location: Merritt

Become a part of Princeton Secondary School as a full-time Physical Education Teacher for grades 8 to 12, starting September 1, 2026. Specialize in Leisure and Recreation, Active Living, and Fitness for motivated students through June 30, 2027.

The ideal candidate will have a valid BC Teaching Certificate and experience working with diverse grade-level students. You will adapt materials and assessments to meet unique student needs and support their social-emotional learning. Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents is crucial in this team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Physical Education and Leisure courses for grades 8-12

• Adapt learning materials and assessments for students

• Support social-emotional learning needs in the classroom

• Develop positive relationships with students and families

• Collaborate with a dedicated school team

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching Certificate

• Experience with grade-level student needs

• Strong commitment to inclusive education

• Familiarity with BC Curriculum

• Teaching category five or higher
