Voice Instructor Position

Join Long & McQuade as a Voice Instructor in Kamloops, BC, focusing on Pop, Rock, Soul, and Jazz music styles. The role offers flexibility throughout weekdays and weekends.

In this contract position, you will work independently, providing voice lessons as part of a supportive team at Long & McQuade's Lesson Centres. Candidates should have a music degree, Grade 8 RCM standing, or demonstrable teaching skills.

Experience with diverse age groups is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach private and group voice lessons

• Apply effective teaching strategies

• Tailor lessons to fit individual student goals

• Create a nurturing teaching environment

• Monitor and evaluate student development

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in music from an accredited institution

• At least Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Previous experience in teaching all age groups

• Familiarity with teaching methods and curricula

• Professional qualifications may substitute for educational requirements
