Lead the Bob Gaglardi School of Business & Economics at Thompson Rivers University, shaping academic and engagement strategies in a dynamic environment. Drive innovation and enhance industry partnerships while championing diversity.

As Dean, you will report to the Provost and play a pivotal role in advancing TRU's mission. Your responsibility includes fostering applied learning and supporting the university’s AACSB accreditation journey. You'll also enhance collaboration with Indigenous communities and regional partners to ensure sustainable growth and significant academic impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for academic and research initiatives

• Foster a culture of collaboration and inclusion within the school

• Build relationships with industry and Indigenous communities

• Support progress towards AACSB accreditation goals

• Enhance applied and experiential learning opportunities

Requirements:

• Terminal degree in a related field;
PhD preferred

• Senior academic leadership experience, preferably at chair level

• Strong record of leadership in university settings

• Deep understanding of Canadian post-secondary education

• Commitment to fostering diversity within the academic community
