Join NVIT as a Term Instructor for the Office Administration Certificate program in Hartley Bay, starting October 2026. Contribute to the education of Indigenous learners and enhance their skills.

This role requires experienced educators to teach within the Office Administration Certificate program licants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in the field, along with teaching history preferably with Indigenous adult learners. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct courses like Word Processing and Computer Essentials

• Engage students through effective teaching strategies

• Provide evaluations and feedback on assignments

• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom

• Address individual learning needs of students

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training in Office Administration

• Experience teaching in a post-secondary environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Understanding of Indigenous cultures
