Position: Term Instructor for Health Programs at NVIT
Location: Merritt

Become a full-time Term Instructor at NVIT to lead health education in programs like HTCA, HCAP, and APN. In this role, you’ll deliver essential training in various learning environments.

As an instructor, you will handle classroom teaching, lab instruction, and real-world clinical training for students. Your expertise in health disciplines will drive program improvement and quality assurance, with a focus on supporting Indigenous perspectives and experiences. Availability to start this term position is immediate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive courses in health education programs

• Facilitate student learning in labs and clinical settings

• Generate required research and progress reports

• Ensure the program meets regulatory standards

• Create a trauma-informed, culturally safe educational space

Requirements:

• Master’s in Nursing or significant RN teaching experience

• BCCNM registration and Indigenous education experience

• Knowledge of healthcare accreditation processes

• Experience in various care settings preferred

• Willingness to complete necessary certifications
