Teach secondary Science for School District No. 27 on a full-time temporary assignment beginning November 3, 2026. BC certification and classroom experience are required.
This Science teaching assignment covers Grades 8-11 within School District No. 27, also known as Cariboo-Chilcotin. The position is temporary and anticipated to continue until the incumbent returns, expected in mid-December 2026. Its FTE may decrease afterward and will not extend beyond June 30, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach Science at the secondary level
- Support learning for students in Grades 8-11
- Work within School District No. 27
- Participate in available professional development opportunities
- Engage with structured mentorship when eligible
- Valid British Columbia Teacher Regulation Branch certification
- Training and experience teaching secondary Science
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Ability to accept a temporary full-time assignment
- Verification of British Columbia TQS and previous service
