We’re looking for an Automation & Controls Engineer/Specialist to join our Heffley Creek Division
, located in Kamloops, British Columbia. With approximately 215 employees, Heffley Creek produces plywood and veneer products, safely and sustainably while producing approximately 180 million square feet of plywood and 28 million square feet of veneer per year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- A qualified Trades Certification with relevant experience, an Engineering degree
, or an Engineering Technical Diploma
. - 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment (Forest Products Manufacturing preferred).
- Experience with PLC programming such as Allen Bradley, HMI or Rockwell (Rockwell Studio 5000 preferred).
- Experience with Human Machine Interfaces (Factory Talk View SE).
- Proficient with Factory Talk software (View, Linx, Asset Centre, etc.).
- Experience with industrial machine automation.

. - You’ll earn a competitive salary based on your skills and experience. The expected base salary range for this position is $80,250 to $107,000 per year.
