Become a Senior Metallurgist at Intertek (BML) in Kamloops, BC, and engage in mineral processing projects. This role requires expertise in metallurgical testing, comminution, and other crucial methods.
As a key player, you will apply your 7 years of experience to manage and deliver on various metallurgical projects. Responsibilities include overseeing laboratory test work, preparing bids, and interacting with clients effectively. Your analytical skills will be vital in directing testing programs and crafting detailed technical reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee project management and client communication
• Conduct and supervise metallurgical testing
• Present results and analyses in project reports
• Mentor and guide less experienced technical staff
• Adhere to health and safety regulations in all tasks
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of industry experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Lab testing experience in metallurgy required
• PEng certification preferred
