Position: Technical Lead AME for Helicopter Maintenance
Summit Helicopters seeks an experienced AME Technical Lead to provide expertise for the Bell 407 and AS350 fleets in Kamloops, BC. This role involves hands-on maintenance, team leadership, and operational support.
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Technical Lead, you will work closely with senior management to supervise maintenance programs and ensure the safety and reliability of our helicopters. Your strong technical skills will be pivotal in troubleshooting, guiding apprentices, and overseeing compliance with regulatory standards. The position requires both field experience and leadership capabilities to achieve seamless operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead maintenance activities for Bell 407 and AS350 aircraft

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance

• Review and maintain aircraft maintenance workbooks

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members

• Conduct troubleshooting across mechanical and avionics systems
Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years as a licensed AME

• Experience with Bell 407 and AS350 aircraft

• Strong troubleshooting skills across systems

• Proven leadership within maintenance teams

• Willingness to travel for operational needs
