Geotechnical Field Engineer

Position: Geotechnical Field Engineer with Travel
Join us as a Geotechnical Field Engineer focused on construction oversight throughout Western Canada.

This role offers a blend of field inspections and compliance monitoring in dynamic environments.

We are looking for a Field Engineer with a background in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering and three years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include conducting QA/QC inspections, preparing documentation, and communicating with project stakeholders. You'll help ensure project adherence to specifications and draw from industry knowledge in challenging outdoor settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform constructability reviews during construction activities

• Conduct QA/QC inspections for geotechnical works

• Monitor and report compliance with project specifications

• Prepare and maintain testing and inspection documentation

• Actively participate in site meetings and planning activities

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering

• At least 3 years of field engineering experience

• Familiarity with engineering drawings and construction documents

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• Ability and willingness to travel extensively
