Engineering Trainee – Civil Infrastructure Design

WSP is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training to join its Kamloops, BC team. Engage in the complete project lifecycle, collaborating on designs and construction while learning from skilled professionals.

In this role, you will support the design and analysis of vital municipal infrastructure projects including water and roadways. As you grow your expertise, you'll contribute to technical documentation and assist in field reviews, ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and design civil engineering projects

• Assist in drafting technical reports and design documentation

• Collaborate with Project Managers throughout project phases

• Participate in construction services and quality checks

• Aid in preparing necessary drawings and specifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• Registration or eligibility as an EIT with EGBC

• Knowledge of municipal infrastructure design

• Familiarity with civil design software such as AutoCAD

• Excellent technical writing and communication skills
