Geotechnical Field Engineer in BC and Alberta

Join Norpac Construction as a Geotechnical Field Engineer focused on geotechnical and civil projects across British Columbia and Alberta. This field-based role involves extensive travel and hands-on construction site activities.

As part of Norpac's team, the Geotechnical Field Engineer will report to the Principal Geotechnical Engineer, supporting the delivery of critical design-build projects. With a minimum of three years in construction oversight and field engineering, you'll perform QA/QC inspections, conduct site reviews, and develop practical construction solutions. This role demands strong communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field inspections and QA/QC activities

• Monitor compliance with project specifications

• Prepare field reports and daily summaries

• Coordinate geotechnical testing and installations

• Identify issues and assist in solutions

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering

• Minimum 3 years in field engineering or construction

• Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel

• Capable of working in challenging outdoor environments
