PWT is looking for an experienced Planning Forester to support its Forestry & Resources Division. You'll assist the Senior Planning Forester in vital forest license planning and development initiatives. This includes leading special projects, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in forest license planning and development activities
• Monitor forest engineering and development contracts
• Design and implement forest development plans
• Manage budget and contractor performance
• Prepare comprehensive planning reports for strategic initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Forestry or related field required
• 2-7+ years of relevant forestry experience
• Knowledge of timber legislation and planning
• Strong GIS, GPS, and mapping skills
• Registered Professional Forester (RPF) preferred
