At Teck, we are seeking a seasoned Senior Supervisor for our Mine Geotechnical program in Logan Lake, BC. This position calls for a professional with ten or more years of mining experience who excels in managing both internal teams and external consultants.

Your role will involve vital geotechnical design processes, compliance assurance, and risk management strategies tailored for open-pit operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote safety and environmental compliance among staff

• Supervise senior and intermediate geotechnical engineers

• Oversee dewatering well installation and maintenance

• Coordinate external consultant work to meet specifications

• Conduct regular leadership inspections and budget reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geological or Geotechnical Engineering

• Registered or eligible as a P. Eng. with EGBC

• Minimum 10 years of mining industry experience

• Proficient in geotechnical software

• Excellent communication skills and valid driver’s license
