Exploration Geologist

Position: Exploration Geologist Role at Axis Geoscience
Axis Geoscience Ltd. is seeking an Exploration Geologist to spearhead field activities in rugged Canadian landscapes. Your expertise will drive geological mapping, sampling, and drill support crucial for successful field programs.
This position involves working with an established geological consulting firm based in New Brunswick. You will actively participate in exploration programs, requiring strong judgment and adaptability in the field. Candidates should be safety-focused and capable of clear communication with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute geological field programs efficiently

• Support drill campaigns and manage logistical coordination

• Accurate collection and validation of geotechnical data

• Document and maintain field and core records

• Ensure rigorous management of samples and QA/QC
Requirements:

• Expertise in geological surveying and prospecting

• Experience overseeing core logging processes

• Knowledge of hard-rock exploration, especially gold/copper

• Familiarity with GIS tools such as Leapfrog

• Strong commitment to environmental and safety practices
