In this role, you will utilize your 15 years of experience in material handling systems, specifically within mining and industrial sectors. Your work will include designing conveyors, cranes, and automated systems, while engaging with multidisciplinary teams for optimized facility integration. Expect responsibilities including technical guidance, field inspections, and contributing to project delivery on a practical level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop engineering solutions for material handling designs
• Collaborate to ensure system integration with facility layouts
• Produce cost estimates, calculations, and performance drawings
• Conduct site inspections and recommend safety improvements
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and support team growth
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 15+ years in material handling system design
• Relevant experience in mining and heavy industry
• Eligibility for P.Eng. designation in Canada
• Familiarity with design and modeling tools
