What We Offer

Key Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager with planning, coordination, and execution of project deliverables
Assist with project scheduling, progress tracking, quantities, and reporting
Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure alignment with field execution
Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
Liaise with field supervision, subcontractors, and client representatives to support project progress
Survey & Field Execution
Oversee and coordinate the survey department, ensuring accurate layouts, grade checks, and data collection
Review survey information and assist field teams with technical interpretation
Support construction execution by ensuring drawings and design intent are followed
Assist with as-built records and turnover documentation
Quality Control & Technical Compliance
Lead and maintain Quality Control (QC) processes, including inspections, testing coordination, and documentation
Ensure work complies with project specifications, engineering standards, and client requirements
Support development and implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
Maintain accurate records for quality, inspection, and project close-out requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
3–5 years of relevant construction or civil project experience
Strong understanding of survey coordination, construction methods, and QC processes
Experience working in heavy civil, infrastructure, or mining environments is an asset
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with field teams
Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract
Work Schedule
5 days on / 2 days off rotation (Monday to Friday)
Project-based environment supporting field operations
Location
This position will be based out of the Kamloops / Thompson area of British Columbia. This is not a camp position.
