Civil Field Engineer at Norpac Construction

Norpac Construction seeks a motivated Civil Field Engineer for ongoing projects across Western Canada, emphasizing collaboration and technical expertise. This role involves regular travel and hands-on work at construction sites.

In this position, you will report to the Principal Geotechnical Engineer and collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. With three or more years of experience, you will focus on constructability reviews, quality assurance, and compliance monitoring.

Your role will be pivotal in site inspections, documentation preparation, and communication across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site constructability reviews

• Oversee QA/QC activities for geotechnical works

• Prepare testing documentation and field reports

• Communicate with clients and contractors

• Monitor compliance with project drawings and specifications

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• 3+ years of construction oversight experience

• Understanding of construction practices and documentation

• Valid driver's license for extensive travel

• Ability to work independently in remote areas
