Senior Hydrology Specialist - Mining Focus

Enhance water management strategies as a Senior Hydrology Specialist with the Water Resources Group in British Columbia, focusing on mining projects. This opportunity is located in Burnaby, Victoria, or Sidney.

We are in search of a skilled Senior Hydrologist or Water Resources Engineer. In this role, you will lead projects involving hydrology assessments, develop effective mine water management plans, and manage project scopes efficiently. Your leadership will be key in mentoring the team and providing strategic guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee hydrology components from assessment to completion

• Create water management plans and conduct modeling analyses

• Manage project workflows to adhere to timelines and budgets

• Facilitate communication with stakeholders and clients

• Promote HSSE policies within the team

Requirements:

• P.Geo. or P.Eng. registration eligibility in British Columbia

• Advanced degree in Geoscience or Engineering

• A minimum of 10 years relevant experience

• Experience in Gold Sim, R, and hydrological datasets

• Strong leadership and communication skills
