Position: Mine Planning & Design Engineer Role
At Peter Lucas Project Management, we are searching for a Mine Planning and Design Engineer to innovate and execute effective mine operational strategies. You will play a vital role in optimizing mine plans within a progressive work environment.

As part of a dedicated team, your responsibilities will include developing short and mid-range mine plans, coordinating with various technical groups, and maintaining a strong underground presence. This role requires a knack for analytical thinking and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges in mine operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain short-range mine plans and schedules

• Prepare mine physicals for forecasts and budgets

• Assist with operational studies and training for planners

• Coordinate with geology and other teams for plan execution

• Identify and analyze risks to project schedules

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or similar

• Experience in underground mining (minimum 3 years)

• Deswik software proficiency is a plus

• Registered or eligible for P.Eng. with EGBC

• Strong Excel skills required
