Position: Full-Time Transportation Engineer Position

This permanent position requires a versatile Transportation Engineer responsible for analyzing transportation operations and leading improvement projects. With strong project management skills, you will contribute to enhancing road safety, developing demand management programs, and improving transit operations for the city.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead traffic studies and operations for better planning

• Oversee and review Traffic Impact Assessments thoroughly

• Facilitate active transportation and safety improvement programs

• Direct capital projects in transportation effectively

• Engage with community stakeholders and make recommendations

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering required

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Traffic Engineering

• At least 2 years supervisory experience required

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Class 5 BC Driver’s License necessary
