This permanent position requires a Civil Engineering degree and significant experience in transportation design. As a Transportation Engineer, you will provide essential technical analysis to support city planning and road safety improvements. Collaborating closely with internal departments and external stakeholders, you’ll drive effective solutions for the city’s transportation challenges, ensuring safe movement for all.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct traffic operations and studies
• Review Traffic Impact Assessments effectively
• Implement transportation demand management strategies
• Oversee road safety improvement initiatives
• Assist in the development of strategic transportation plans
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum three years in transportation engineering
• Supervisory experience of at least two years
• Eligibility for professional engineering membership
• BC Driver’s License Class 5 or equivalent
