Field Engineer Geotechnical Projects

Elevate your career as a Field Engineer focusing on geotechnical projects in Western Canada. This dynamic role requires regular travel to active construction sites across Alberta and British Columbia.
As part of the team, you will report directly to the Principal Geotechnical Engineer, working collaboratively with contractors and clients. Your responsibilities will encompass site inspections, QA/QC activities, and compliance monitoring while upholding safety standards and protocol on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct on-site constructability reviews for projects
• Oversee field inspections and quality assurance measures
• Monitor compliance with engineering specifications
• Prepare inspection reports and daily summaries
• Support project planning and execution efforts
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years in field engineering or construction oversight
• Working knowledge of construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
