Cenovus Asphalt Operator

Position: Cenovus Asphalt Operator Role
Cenovus is seeking an Asphalt Operator in Kamloops, BC, to ensure efficient site operations and production of asphalt emulsion. This full-time position focuses on safety, procedural adherence, and technical skill development.
In this role, report directly to the Site Coordinator and take charge of all asphalt production activities. You will maintain operating procedures, facilitate maintenance tasks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should possess at least two years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas and a valid power engineering certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance planning and execution

• Support contractors and compliance activities

• Audit work permits and lead safety assessments

• Monitor steam and hot oil systems operation

• Handle product and raw material transfers
Requirements:

• 2+ years in Oil & Gas fluid handling

• 4th Class Power Engineering certification

• Clean Class 5 driver's license

• Experience with boiler operations required

• Background with railcar operations is beneficial
