Airborne Geophysical Equipment Technician

Location: Revelstoke

Work with SHA Geophysics Inc. as an Airborne Geophysical Survey Technician in beautiful Revelstoke, BC. This seasonal role involves operating and maintaining geophysical survey equipment while traveling to remote locations.

SHA is hiring immediately to support their airborne survey operations through mid-August. As a technician, you will work closely with aerial crews, maintain equipment, and perform quality control using GIS software. Your contribution will help advance exploration programs for clients in the mineral sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain airborne geophysical survey equipment

• Perform QC/QA checks on airborne survey data using GIS software

• Upload survey data to head office via Google Drive

• Coordinate daily flight operations with crews and pilots

• Liaise with local service providers for field support

Requirements:

• Basic proficiency with GIS software, QGIS or ArcGIS desirable

• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment

• Understanding of GPS navigation and data collection hardware

• Ability to travel to remote project sites

• Valid Canadian driver's licence with clean driving record
