The Senior Metallurgist role focuses on managing and supervising metallurgical projects, guiding Junior and Project Metallurgists as they engage in complex testing work. You'll interact directly with clients, ensuring clear communications and presenting comprehensive reports based on your analyses. A strong background in metallurgy is essential, as well as proven leadership skills to foster collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide project bid preparation and client communications

• Analyze testing data, presenting results to clients

• Supervise and mentor junior team members

• Conduct and report on laboratory test work

• Represent ALS at industry conferences and trade shows

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or Engineering

• 5 to 8 years of related experience in operations

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Capacity to manage high workloads
