This position involves providing technical oversight and mentorship while developing optimized life-of-mine plans in a block caving operation. You will be responsible for production planning and provide guidance to Junior Engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee oversight of mine production planning
• Create and optimize detailed mine designs
• Set operational priorities for the planning team
• Manage budget and forecast deliveries
• Ensure compliance with safety and legislation
Requirements:
• Degree in Mining Engineering or relevant field
• Over 7 years in Mine Engineering roles
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in BC
• Advanced skills in mine planning software
• Proven safety record in underground environments
