The Reliability Engineer Co-op position is a hands-on opportunity for students pursuing degrees in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. At Highland Valley Copper, you will analyze equipment performance and structure asset management strategies to mitigate operational risks. Your collaborative work with engineers and trades will optimize reliability while maintaining a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safety initiatives and enforce environmental standards
• Develop asset management strategies for various systems
• Conduct data analysis for production loss evaluations
• Apply risk analysis techniques to foster reliability
• Partner with trades to address equipment failure causes
Requirements:
• Actively pursuing relevant engineering degree
• Effective communication with a wide range of personnel
• Strong time management in project handling
• Outdoor work capability in diverse conditions
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and engineering software
