As a Mine Planning Engineer, you will support essential planning and operational tasks while collaborating with diverse teams in the mining sector. Your expertise will be pivotal in developing practical mine plans that enhance safety and efficiency. The role offers flexible scheduling options to suit project needs, such as a 4x3 or a 5x2 schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop short- and mid-range underground mine plans
• Prepare monthly plans to meet operational needs
• Conduct underground mine designs with necessary adjustments
• Support drill and blast planning for projects
• Monitor performance with month-end reporting
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mining or Geological Engineering
• P.Eng. eligibility or registration with EGBC
• Over 5 years of underground mining experience
• Expertise in Deswik mine planning software
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
