JDS is hiring an experienced Senior Mining Permitting & Regulatory Manager for the Environment and Reclamation division. Ideal candidates possess educational backgrounds in engineering or environmental science, with vast experience in regulatory management. Key responsibilities encompass providing support for mining projects, ensuring operational compliance, and compiling permit applications for various phases of mine planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide regulatory support in mining and exploration projects
• Assist in permit application compilation and submission
• Ensure operational compliance in dynamic environments
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external resources
• Manage client relationships while upholding core values
Requirements:
• Degree in engineering or environmental/biological science
• Extensive experience in regulatory management within mining
• Strong understanding of permitting requirements
• Proven ability to manage client relationships
• Willingness to undertake site visits as necessary
