Elevate your career with Trekor Metals as a Senior Process Engineer located in Barriere, British Columbia. Engage in metallurgical testing, process optimization, and project development within a dynamic mining environment.
In this role, you will report directly to the Director of the Yellowhead Copper Project. You will be instrumental in advancing the project through various phases, including environmental assessment and construction. Your focus will encompass metallurgical analysis, flowsheet development, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead metallurgical and mineral processing testwork programs
• Manage consulting engineering packages and lab programs
• Collaborate with mining, environmental, and geotechnical teams
• Develop process flowsheet options and equipment specifications
• Support environmental assessment and permitting applications
Requirements:
• Degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in mineral processing
• P.Eng. registration with EGBC in good standing
• Proven experience with base metal sulfide testing
• Familiarity with industry-standard process simulation packages
