JDS is on the lookout for a motivated Senior Mining Permitting & Regulatory Manager who possesses substantial experience in natural resource development. In this office-based role, you’ll guide permitting processes, ensure compliance, and manage client relationships while contributing to diverse project phases, including mining and exploration. A blend of technical and environmental knowledge is key to succeeding in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review regulatory documents and permit applications

• Advise on regulatory risks and compliance strategies

• Manage compliance during project execution

• Oversee technical and environmental desktop scopes

• Coordinate with subconsultants to represent client interests

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in regulatory and permitting processes

• Background in mining, remediation, or construction

• University degree with eligibility for Professional registration

• Strong organizational and technical writing skills

• Valid Driver’s license and pre-employment drug test
