Position:
Research Analyst (RA)

An RA is a key member who:

• Participates in due diligence processes for new investment ideas
• Interprets financial statements, earnings calls, and market/industry data
• Assists in updating and creating financial models
• Proactively suggests new investment ideas at weekly meetings
• Updates company data for equities that TRUSIF owns

A successful candidate has:

• A clear idea of what they want from TRUSIF and how they can contribute
• Examples of being a strong team player who seeks out responsibility
• Interest in capital markets and wealth management careers
• The drive to go the extra mile when necessary and resilience in the face of setbacks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A minimum of 1 full year remaining in their program (finance, accounting, economics, STEM, or related field)

Nice to have:

• More than 1 year left in your program
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Understanding of financial accounting and company valuation topics

• Comprehensive training designed to bridge knowledge gaps (begins upon joining TRUSIF)
• The opportunity to play an integral part on a growing and dynamic team in a collaborative work environment
• A platform to implement industry-standard financial modeling, equity research, and company valuation skills
• The ability to build solid relationships with a group of motivated students, institutional sponsors, and university supporters
• The chance to be promoted to Investment Analyst and Fund Manager roles
