Take on the vital role of Citizenship Navigator, providing compassionate guidance to citizenship applicants. This position entails managing applications and supporting individuals through their documentation journey.
In this position, the Citizenship Navigator will engage with applicants to review submissions and help secure their primary source documents. You will utilize your exceptional communication skills to explain the process thoroughly, ensuring applicants have a clear understanding of requirements. Monitor and maintain records accurately within the Citizenship Relations Management system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and evaluate citizenship applications thoroughly
• Facilitate the acquisition of required source documents
• Communicate effectively with applicants in various formats
• Carry out final assessments of applications for the Indigenous Research department
• Maintain accurate records and digitize necessary information
Requirements:
• Diploma in archive or related fields from an accredited institution
• Minimum three years of experience in social services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with conflict resolution and sensitive topics
• Ability to manage tasks independently and use new software
