Join Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc as a Leasing Officer focused on Individual Land Holders. This permanent, full-time role involves managing leases and compliance in a supportive community environment.
Work within the dynamic Lands, Leasing & Tax Department, under the Manager’s guidance. This position requires drafting and administering lease agreements, conducting audits, and ensuring policy adherence. You’ll play a crucial role in negotiating terms for Individual Land Holders while aiding the effective running of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer compliance for lease agreements
• Draft and review legal documents for land transactions
• Monitor and advise on lease expirations and renewals
• Maintain accurate departmental records and reports
• Facilitate communication between staff and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Diploma in Business Administration, Law, or related fields
• 1–3 years relevant work experience in land management
• Knowledge of FN land laws and regulations
• Proficient in standard computer applications
• Valid Class 5 driver's license necessary
