Position: Dispatcher Needed Fire Centre
Become an integral part of the Kamloops Fire Centre as a Dispatcher. Focus on emergency wildfire response, manage radio communications, and ensure personnel safety on-site.

We're seeking dedicated Dispatchers to join our established Kamloops team. This full-time role involves overseeing emergency procedures during wildfire situations, requiring multi-tasking, effective communication, and strong attention to detail. Exceptional individuals will work well under pressure, contributing to critical operations that safeguard both people and resources during peak seasons.

• Manage emergency wildfire response operations

• Communicate effectively via multiple radio systems

• Monitor and enforce safety protocols

Requirements:

Education:

Grade 12 or equivalent

• Accurate typing speed of 50 WPM or more

• Experience in emergency response environments

• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

• Flexibility for extended hours and standby shifts
