This full-time, permanent role includes collaborating with planning and engineering professionals to enhance land use strategies and policy development. With a focus on public engagement, your work will involve reviewing development proposals, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities:
• Support land use plans and housing strategies development
• Conduct planning research, analysis, and reporting
• Facilitate culturally respectful public engagement
• Review applications for compliance with TteS regulations
• Prepare maps and policy recommendations for committees
Requirements:
• Diploma in planning or related field
• Minimum 3 years planning experience or equivalent
• Understanding of municipal/First Nations development
• Proficient in report writing and public engagement
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
