In the Land & Right of Way Acquisition Specialist role, you will be responsible for acquiring land rights essential for infrastructure and renewable resource projects across British Columbia's Thompson-Nicola Region. Your expertise in negotiation and stakeholder engagement will be vital for building relationships with landowners and Indigenous communities, while ensuring complete documentation compliance. This position necessitates both field activities and office tasks, involving travel as project needs arise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Negotiate and finalize land agreements for infrastructure
• Act as a liaison for land acquisition activities
• Ensure regulatory compliance through thorough documentation
• Review legal property information and plans
• Conduct field reviews as necessary
Requirements:
• Background in land acquisition or similar fields
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to maintain meticulous records
• Valid driver’s license for travel across BC
• Must live in Kamloops or be open to relocation
