Become a Casual Medical Device Reprocessing Technician at Interior Health in 100 Mile House, BC. This position is key to ensuring the sterilization of medical devices for hospital operations.

Working casually on Tuesdays and Fridays from 07:30 to 15:30, you will carry out essential technical and clerical tasks related to medical device management. Reliability, strong communication, and attention to detail are crucial qualities for success in this role within the Medical Device Reprocessing Team, playing a pivotal part in safe healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments

• Test and reassemble medical devices for safe use

• Keep detailed records of all sterilization processes

• Collaborate effectively with healthcare staff

• Follow health and safety regulations diligently

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 education

• Recognized Sterile Supply Processing course certification

• One year of relevant experience or equivalent

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Availability for the specified casual shift
