CT​/IR Technologist Position

Discover a fulfilling Part-Time role as a CT/IR Technologist with Interior Health in Kamloops. Emphasizing interventional and computer tomography imaging, this position is vital to patient care.

Your primary focus will be to perform CT and interventional imaging under the guidance of Radiologists. You will report to the Professional Practice Leader while also inputting patient data into our Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and PACS. Supporting and educating student technologists and staff trainees will also be a key aspect of your role within our diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute CT and interventional imaging procedures

• Assist Radiologists during imaging protocols

• Enter and manage patient data in RIS and PACS

• Provide mentorship to students and new staff

• Rotate through shifts, including evenings and nights

Requirements:

• Fully certified as a CT/IR Technologist

• Background in radiology imaging

• Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion

• Skills in training and guiding others

• Availability for varying shift schedules
