Community Occupational Therapist

Join the South Shore Home Health team as a part-time Occupational Therapist in Kamloops. Support clients in their homes, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote independence and wellness.

This permanent 0.80 FTE position involves working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, with alternate Mondays off. You will assess clients, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide education to enhance their mobility and health. Utilize both your own vehicle and Interior Health vehicles for travel to clients in Kamloops and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct home visits to assess client needs

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Prescribe necessary equipment for client care

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary rehabilitation team

• Provide guidance to rehabilitation assistants

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active registration with CHCPBC

• Experience in community health settings preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Valid driver's license for travel
