Make a difference at Gemstone Care Centre as a full-time Recreation/Activity Aide in Kamloops. With a focus on elderly care, you will foster meaningful connections through various therapeutic programs.

Pro Vita seeks individuals passionate about enhancing the lives of seniors. You'll be involved in permanent full-time shifts, working together with a team dedicated to providing high-quality recreation activities.

Your role will focus on planning, implementing, and evaluating programs to support resident engagement and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize activities like arts, crafts, and music

• Support residents with mobility and activity transitions

• Assist during meal times, providing feeding support

• Maintain documentation related to participation and feedback

• Report observations to the Recreation Coordinator

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited institution in Recreation/Activity

• Current Class 4 BC driver’s license

• CPR and First Aid certification

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations

• Strong communication skills in English
