As a Health Information Processing Clerk, you will work rotating shifts and play a crucial role in handling patient documentation. Key responsibilities include conducting quantitative analyses, maintaining electronic tracking systems, and assisting physicians in documentation completion. You'll also manage inquiries about patient data following legislative guidelines and provide reception support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct quantitative analysis for patient records accuracy
• Maintain electronic tracking of deficient patient charts
• Type technical and non-technical documents for staff
• Organize and file patient records and documents
• Handle inquiries about patient information as per policies
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education with Medical Terminology course
• Two years of related experience or equivalent
• Typing test: 55 wpm or more, from valid institution
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion in health services
• Knowledge of health data systems
