We are seeking a qualified Registered Social Worker for casual shifts at Royal Inland Hospital. Ideal candidates will possess strong skills in assessment, care planning, and treatment coordination for clients with complex medical needs. This position emphasizes comprehensive psychosocial care and direct advocacy while fostering client self-management and linking clients to specialized resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assessments and care planning for designated clients
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver counseling, group work, and advocacy for clients
• Facilitate client self-management and resources linkage
• Develop and enhance social work services for client well-being
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Social Work from an accredited university
• Two years' experience in healthcare with complex clients
• Current registration with the BC College of Social Workers
• Valid BC driver's license
