Work with Community Living Services as a Full Time Adult Living Support Worker in Kamloops, BC, where you support adults living with behavioral and developmental challenges through personalized care.
Your role is critical in fostering independence and implementing effective behavior plans.
Candidates must have a diploma in Human/Social Services or a related field, along with a minimum of one year of relevant experience. A valid BC Class 4 Driver's License is essential for transporting clients and ensuring their safety. Your daily responsibilities will involve direct interaction and assistance with various tasks, including personal care and household management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate in goal setting with clients and caregivers
• Address personal health needs and administer required care
• Create meaningful activities encouraging independence
• Prepare meals based on specific dietary requirements
• Carry out household chores and upkeep
Requirements:
• Diploma or equivalent in Human/Social Service
• One year of experience with adults in care
• Valid BC Class 4 Driver's License
• Clean driving record and reliable vehicle
• Physical capability to assist clients effectively
