This Health Care Aide role reports to the Director of Care and is vital in delivering quality care. You will perform personal care tasks, monitor residents, and utilize safety protocols to aid residents effectively. The position emphasizes compassion and respect, contributing to creating a caring atmosphere for seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized care including bathing, grooming, and dressing

• Respond promptly to call bells/alarms

• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions

• Operate mechanical aides safely for resident transport

• Assist with nutrition and dining participation

Requirements:

• Graduate from a recognized Care Aide Program

• Active registration with the BC Care Aide Registry

• Previous experience in long-term care

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

• Must pass a vulnerable sector Criminal Record Check.
