We urgently seek Registered Midwives for on-call shifts at Royal Inland Hospital. Midwives are deeply respected here, ensuring 70-90% of perinatal call shifts filled by our experts. With monthly volumes of around 100 deliveries, you will work alongside dedicated nursing staff and access 24/7 OB/GYN and pediatrics services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide locum coverage during on-call shifts
• Engage in collaborative care within our midwifery team
• Manage perinatal call shifts and admissions
• Utilize dedicated on-call rooms for patient support
• Ensure comprehensive maternity care as needed
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Midwife in British Columbia
• Experienced in on-call maternity care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work various shift types
