Introduction

Pinnacle Lifestyles has a need for multiple Guest Services Agents to join our resort team for the summer camping season. As a Guest Services Agent, you will work onsite at the Revelstoke RV & Cabin Resort in Revelstoke, British Columbia and provide support to the Resort Manager with the operations of the resort including guest experience and reservations, store operations, amenities, special events and food service if applicable.

The successful candidate(s) will be friendly, organized and passionate about creating a memorable guest experience. Previous experience in a customer service role is required for the Guest Services Agent position.

This is a seasonal position running from April/May to September each year, with full-time and part-time availability. As a seasonal business, the expectation is that there will be scheduled work on weekends and/or statutory holidays during the summer season.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Greet guests upon arrival to the resort and provide a positive check-in experience
  • Complete reservation related requests online, over the phone and in person, in a fast‑paced environment
  • Assist in store operations including product sales, monthly inventory counts, daily float counts and cash out procedures. Conduct transactions in accordance with Pinnacle’s Standard Operating Manual
  • Provide information pertaining to available services and facilities onsite and address any guest inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
  • Maintain informed of local attractions and activities to promote to guests
  • Promote re‑bookings, google reviews and completion of the departure survey upon check‑out
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of our annual charitable event Camping For Kids in partnership with the Starlight Foundation
  • Coordinate group activities and resort events during long weekends and as otherwise requested
  • Assist in keeping the common areas clean and tidy, including housekeeping duties as required
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment; and
  • Other duties that may be assigned
Qualifications
  • 4+ years experience in a customer service role is required, including experience with a point‑of‑sale (POS) terminal;
  • Previous experience in a hospitality environment or related field is considered an asset;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer focused mindset;
  • Ability to comprehend and perform basic mathematical operations;
  • Adaptable, flexible and dependable;
  • Ability to stand for long hours and a desire to work in a recreation resort environment. Reasonable accommodations will be made for those with limitations;
  • Strong work ethic with a team mentality;
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; and
  • Passion for the outdoors!
