THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Executive Director, Corporate Services is a strategic leader responsible for modernizing and strengthening the Commission’s corporate infrastructure. Operating at the intersection of administration, technology, and organizational effectiveness, this role leads enterprise‑wide digital transformation while ensuring strong financial stewardship and operational excellence.

The Executive Director oversees the Information & Technology and Finance & Administration teams and is accountable for the design, integration, and performance of enterprise systems, financial controls, digital service delivery, and corporate operations.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the Executive Director contributes to the development of organizational excellence ensuring that technology, financial management, and administrative systems enable the Commission’s mandate, regulatory responsibilities, and long‑term sustainability. The role plays a critical part in transitioning legacy systems to modern, secure, scalable digital solutions that improve user experience, decision‑making, and overall service delivery.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Digital Transformation & Strategic Leadership

Develops and executes a multi‑year digital transformation strategy aligned with the Commission’s Corporate Plan.

Leads the modernization, integration, and optimization of enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, HCMS, CRM, data and analytics environments).

Oversees enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, applications, data infrastructure, and system governance.

Champions user‑centered digital delivery and continuously improves client and stakeholder experiences.

Identifies and implements AI and automation use cases that enhance operational efficiency and regulatory effectiveness.

Ensures secure, reliable, and scalable technology ecosystems with strong data governance and privacy controls.

Provides strategic advice to the COO on technology investments, risk, and innovation priorities.

Leads transition planning from legacy systems to modern best‑practice platforms.

Leads and develops high‑performing teams across Information Technology and Finance & Administration.

Fosters cross‑functional collaboration across business lines and functions.

Builds internal digital capability and data literacy across the organization.

Provides change management leadership during system and process redesign initiatives.

Coaches and mentors leaders to build capacity and succession strength.

Financial Stewardship & Corporate Administration

Provides oversight of financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Ensures strong internal controls, compliance, and regulatory reporting in alignment with legislative and funding requirements.

Oversees financial planning processes, resource allocation, and cost‑effective service delivery strategies.

Links financial outcomes to corporate KPIs to enable performance management frameworks.

Strengthens administrative systems and corporate services infrastructure to support organizational growth.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

Protects organizational information and system assets through effective security and risk management frameworks.

Ensures compliance with legislation, service agreements, regulatory filings, audit requirements, and internal policies.

Establishes governance structures for enterprise systems, data management, and vendor oversight.

Provides senior‑level recommendations on risk mitigation, technology procurement, and enterprise clusion

Vendor & Stakeholder Partnership

Serves as executive liaison with vendors, consultants, and system partners.
