As a Mining Systems Technician, you'll report to the Mining Systems Technology Supervisor at Canada’s largest open-pit copper mine. Your primary responsibilities include the installation and upkeep of mobile computing hardware and wireless communication systems, ensuring seamless connectivity for mission-critical operations. You'll engage with various team members while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain mobile computing hardware and wireless networks

• Ensure data network security and availability

• Facilitate cyber-security improvements and incident responses

• Maintain real-time data network connectivity

• Collaborate with the Digital Services team on equipment recommendations

Requirements:

• 2-year Diploma in Digital Communications or related field

• 2 years relevant experience preferred

• Familiarity with mining safety protocols

• Knowledge of RF communications fundamentals

• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
